Bethany Morrison is a prelicensed psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology & Counseling Practice from Roosevelt University. She is currently accepting new clients including adults, adolescents, and couples, experiencing difficulties including depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationships. Bethany has particular experience supporting parents of children with medical needs.

Bethany believes that for each of us, our complex history and unique personalities have profound influence on our feelings and actions day-to-day. Therapy provides the opportunity to thoughtfully explore and more deeply understand these stories, conflicting emotions, and style of interacting with other people. She has seen clients experience growth in areas that they previously thought were unreachable. As a mother, Bethany brings patience and realness, along with respect for the ever-changing stages of life.

Bethany is warm and interactive. She finds that people often seek therapy because of longstanding pain or circumstances that overwhelm their current coping skills. She invites clients to speak freely and responds with interest and compassion. Clinically, Bethany’s approach is to build a strong therapeutic relationship using an integrative, psychoanalytic foundation. She offers Sand Tray Therapy for those interested. Additionally, she holds certification as a Domestic Violence Professional, which informs how she helps clients navigate relationships and improve interpersonal communication and self-efficacy.
